Hello everyone - am stitching like mad to get the sample ready for you, as am away for a few days and we meet again on 12 May. I must say it is looking good so must press on, whilst himself is down the allotment.
First as you can see there are varying sizes, and you all have varying sized hoops for your machines. So to stitch out I have listed machines and sizes of hoops and bags. Janome 15000 Hoop 230 x 300 7 x 12 Janome 14000 Hoop 230 x 300 7 x 12 Janome 500 E Hoop 200 x 280 6 x 10 Janome 9900 Hoop 170 x 200 I have reduced the design to suit hoop Janome 11000 Hoop 200 x 200 I have had to reduce the design to suit Hoop Brother Hoop 300 x 180 7 x 12 or 240 x 360 9.5 x14
Requirements 1 metre of plain cotton ) These amounts give you sufficient for pockets 1 metre of patterned cotton ) as well 2 metre of lightweight wadding (in case you want to put it on lining too (I used fusible) Iron on interfacing for the two sides of the zipper panel (or if you prefer you could use on lining instead of wadding. Nylon zip 16 inch long Bought straps or rope 2 x 70 cm (28") or make your own. 4 D rings ( We will have some for sale)
1 thread to suit plain cotton fabric, and 1 thread to suit patterned cotton fabric. Wind two bobbins with bobbin thread 75-11 embroidery needles (blue tips) Sharp curved scissors for cutting back Cut away or tear away stabiliser
For making up you will need a sewing thread.
